Job description:

Shared Service Centre - Target Operating Model (TOM) Lead ( 18 Months Contract)

Primary objective of the job:

Review, provide Digicel inputs and plan transition to the Target Operating Model (TOM) for Finance

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide inputs, guidance and support to validate the design of the future global finance organisation which is fit for purpose for Digicel;
  • Supports the process leads and plays a key role in transitioning to the to-be organisational structure;
  • Works with the implementation partner TOM lead ensuring that the overall solution and processes meet Digicels target operating model, future processes and strategic direction;
  • Ensure alignment to programme vision and principles during validate phase to ensure the final technical solution will work in conjunction with the target operating model;
  • Bring knowledge of the Digicel Finance function, strategy and vision of future operating model;
  • Provide input into the different phases of the programme, from organisation design to transition planning and management;
  • Work with the Digicel HR organisational design team to ensure approaches are globally consistent and in line with Digicel policies and standards;
  • Provide input into status report and raise any risks / issues in the RAID log;
  • Providing inputs and support to people transition activities across the programme e.g. redundancy, retention, ER issues;
  • Review and agree key TOM activities (e.g. designing new job descriptions, alignment to job families) from a Digicel perspective;
  • Provide career band insights and inputs from a Digicel perspective to the programme;

Academic qualifications and experience required:
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Relevant HR qualification;
  • Programme management certification e.g. APM, Prince2, PMP etc;
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Finance Business Partner/SSC environment;
  • Demonstrated experience of Finance ERP/systems programme;
  • Understanding of programme governance and quality management processes;
  • Finance/SSC lead in Transformational programme
  • Consulting background delivering finance transformations
  • Setting up/delivery of a Finance Shared Services centre (SSC)
