Your Opportunity

We are excited to have partnered with a Brisbane based Group who oversee a number of entities across multiple industries (within Australia & New Zealand) and pride themselves upon their year on year performance.

This position will offer you the opportunity to get involved at a Group level, but also be very hands on with the day to day duties that make the business tick on a weekly basis. Whilst the team you will join is small, they possess a highly professional demeanor and corporate outlook. As a business, our Client holds great tenure within their team and are looking forward to inviting their new Company Accountant onboard.

You will be involved with broad accounting duties including BAS preparation, compliance based work, reporting, reconciliations and cash flow management. You will assist with the payroll processing, as well as any changes to modern awards & collective agreements.

There is also an element to assist with managing external stakeholders from both tax and legal standpoint.

In addition, this blended role will see you be involved with annual budget reviews and detailed analysis on business performance. You will have a direct relationship with the External Accountant to ensure that all standards are met.

Your Skills & Experience

  • At least 4 years' experience, ideally with exposure to working with multiple entities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MYOB
  • Extraordinary ability to multi-task and attention to detail are critical
  • Strong Business Partner skills
