Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a successful business based in the Wetherby area of Leeds as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant into their Team on a permanent, full time basis!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic & self-motivated Finance Assistant to join a well established team & will work directly for the Finance Director with a focus on assisting her in ongoing duties and deputizing in her absence.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:
* Daily invoicing and processing new orders * Processing card payments and dealing with merchant banks * Updating the relevant daily financial reports * Entering purchase invoices into Sage Accounts * Credit control support * Preparations of stats * Preparation of month end accounts * Executing of all directions given by the company Directors with the highest level of efficiency * Complying with all company policies and procedures
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- 2+ years previous experience of working in a business accounting function - Experience with excel spreadsheets essential - Experience with Sage Accounting or similar software - Organizational skills essential and the ability to stay focused on different tasks, and use your time effectively and efficiently in order to achieve the desired outcome - Strong Excel (Look Ups & Pivot Tables) - Self-motivated & target-focused - Strong communication skills (verbally and written) - Studying for either AAT or CIMA/ACCA
