Job Description

iProov is looking for a highly motivated and tech savvy Financial Accountant to join a busy and growing team in London. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as well as leading and mentoring a small team. The successful candidate must have experience in Revenue calculations including deferred and accrued income for SaaS companies and payroll exposure.

We work with fantastic customers across a number of industry sectors - organisations using our technology include the US Department of Homeland Security, the UK Home Office, the NHS, Eurostar, the Singapore government, ING and many more.

The Financial Accountant is expected to be remote until summer 2021 and will then be based at our London HQ. The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and will work closely with the CFO at times.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage AP and AR including a small team. Responsible for back-to-back AR process. Review and improve the month end close. Responsible for monthly and quarterly reconciliation. Production of consolidated monthly management accounts. Responsible for processing subsidiaries Payroll and assist in preparation of the UK payroll. UK and US tax submissions and compliance. Involvement in the Annual statutory account and associated tax filings, audit process and liaising with the Company's external statutory accounting firms.

Qualifications:

CIMA or ACCA Finalist/Newly qualified/QBE or ACA candidate from Practice 5+ years' experience working in a similar position. Experience implementing SAP or NetSuite is desirable. Ability to lead and mentor a small team. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Advanced IT skills (financial software, databases and spreadsheets). Experience working in a growth/scaling environment. Have an eye for continuous improvement.
