Page Personnel Finance are recruiting a Finance Manager. The role is initially for 9 months (up to c. March 2022) covering maternity leave, but the organisation is growing, and as such, it is possible that another permanent position may become available for the successful candidate before the contract finishes.

Client Details

Our client is a growing, well established and stable organisation. It has a an extremely friendly and supportive finance team of c. 16. The office in based in Lincoln city centre, and this role will be predominantly office based, but there may be some home working.


The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of c. 10. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing, supporting and developing the finance team, that is responsible for, purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, cash book, card reconciliations and management accounts preparation
  • Reporting on the organisation's cashflow position
  • Ensuring the transactional finance team meet their month end deadlines
  • Supporting budget holders with their annual budget submissions
  • Ensuring budget holders are adequately trained on Finance Regulations and their duties as a budget holder
  • Overseeing the VAT returns
  • Reviewing monthly payroll and updating monthly forecasts
  • Reviewing and improving processes and systems, which may include, month end processes, reporting and analysis, and monthly reporting
  • Supporting the Finance Business Partner with analysing financial reports
  • Supporting with compliance and audit duties


To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • a proven track record of working in finance
  • experience of transactional finance and management accounts
  • managed others in a finance function
  • the ability to work in a fast paced working environment

Job Offer

This initially a contract role for 9 months. However, the organisation is growing, and as such a permanent opportunity may become available for the successful candidate. Our client is offering:
