Work you’ll do

1. Accounting & Reporting Advisory

• IFRS Implementation – Implement a new set of accounting policies from the existing policies and develop a solution to sustain the statutory report;
• IFRS Conversion – Integrate the conversion process into existing for dual reporting purpose;
• IFRS Transition/Integration – Transit a newly acquired company into the acquirer’s accounting system (PMI Project).

2. Accounting Operations Advisory/ Business Assurance

• Assess information technology capabilities, assess functional and technical systems requirements, align finance requirements with systems capabilities; develop vendor criteria to accelerate the system selection process; provide advice in systems implementation (ERP, budgeting, planning, forecasting, consolidation, etc.)
• Assess and implement controllership applications (ie. Blackline, Workiva, Concur) to enhance digital capabilities, efficiency and controls through advanced, touchless processing within the scope of the controllership.
• Facilitate client workshops including resource transitions, operational accounting strategy assessment and development, and audit readiness.

3. Disruptive Events Advisory

• Provide accounting support for transactions, such as IPO readiness, divestments, M&A transactions, and securitizations, as well as general crisis response.
• Provide pre- and post-acquisition support, including purchase accounting, accounting method changes, internal controls and financial reporting process transformation.
• Assurance services to assist private companies in evaluating and implementing the requirements to go public.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, auditing, finance, banking or economics.
• Have knowledge of IFRS implementation projects
• Experience with IFRS Adoption/Convergence is a plus
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skill, ability to work within a team and independent working skill.
• Good problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent English language skill, competent computer skill.
• Hands-on experience with financial, statistical software and ERP is a plus
• Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations
• Relevant certification or in the progress of obtaining (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
