Group FP&A Analyst

At Kingfisher, we are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join the Group FP&A Team. The team's role is to carry out strategic performance analysis, providing critical insight and concise analysis of business performance across our Retail Banners (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot & Koçtaş) to generate meaningful discussion and management action at the Executive level.

Reporting into a Senior FP&A Manager your role as an FP&A Analyst is to support the team to deliver insightful and impactful analysis, build presentations for Board and Executive level colleagues, support the production of strategic plans, forecasts, and budgets and be involved in project work to improve and streamline our reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating high quality concise and insightful P&L analysis for senior stakeholders to include variances, key themes and longer-term trends
• Perform ‘deep-dive’ analysis of trends using data from several sources
• Identify and drive operational improvements including crafting standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
• Consolidate data from financial systems and offline spreadsheets using multiple currencies
• Support the FP&A team by being an expert on our French businesses and being a key point of contact in the FP&A team for France.

Skills needed to deliver in the role:

• Newly Qualified accountant – 0-2 years PQE
• Outstanding reporting and presentation skills
• Business partnering experience
• Keen interest in financial analysis and visualisation
• Analytical mind with advanced Excel skills
• Experience within an FP&A Analyst role desirable
• Experience using Hyperion Finance Management (HFM) and PowerBI would be a bonus
