Senior Accountant Internal Finance (Polish accountancy rules)

The opportunity

You will join internal accountancy department with possibilities to develop your experience within Polish Accountancy regulations. The role itself includes cooperating and supporting Junior Accountants.

In addition joining us as a Senior Accountant would give you a possibility to participate in automation processes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing purchase transactions in a timely manner
• Assuring invoice compliance with tax/legal rules and accounting standards
• Vendor Master Data management
• Issuing invoices and credit notes
• Posting journals
• Closing monthly accounting periods to ensure that all information is entered into the company’s accounting ledger accurately and make corrections as needed
• Assistance in yearly closing
• Supporting other team members in day to day processes
• Improving existing processes
• Proceed with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
• Creating accounting procedures
  

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor degree in finance
• 5+ years of experience in finance
• Knowledge of Polish Accountancy regulations
• Good command of CIT and VAT regulations necessary to perform daily duties enumerated in job description
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong organization and time-management skills, deadline orientation
• English (min. B1 is required
