Business Analyst

Due to the continued and rapid growth of our business we have a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions team at Buy It Direct Group.

As a Business Systems & Process Analyst you'll be trusted with large-scale, business change projects. You'll be asked to look at a particular area of the business, or a particular problem within the business - as part of this you will analyse the current processes, work with relevant stakeholders to agree commercially viable solutions and work with different areas of the business to deliver the end solution.
In many cases the solution will be a software change, which will involve working with our in-house software development team, or a third party piece of software, which you will source and integrate into the business.

The key objectives will be;

• Analysing existing processes
• Identifying areas for improvement
• Document/understand requirements
• Manage deadlines and stakeholders
• Work closely with software developers and third parties
• User acceptance testing any new solution
• In many cases, acting as project manager

About You
We are looking for someone who has;

• Fantastic organisation skills
• Experience with change management is preferred
• We use agile business processes so experience with this concept would be an advantage
• Data analysis experience is essential, if you have advanced excel skills and/or SQL this would be beneficial
• A strong technical background will make it easier for you to converse with software developers
• Building strong internal and external relationships is essential
• Previous experience working as a business analyst is preferred
• Having a curious nature will help you query and question the current process
• We prefer to recruit people with ambition that are looking to grow within a company
• Experience with Trello, MS Project, or Asana is preferred but not essential
• An understanding of some project management principles (such as Kanban, agile, scrum, Prince2) may give you an advantage but is not essential
