Job Purpose:

Individual will lead and manage business analysis as part of the wholesale credit risk program, and will interface directly with various stakeholders including Product, Risk, Operations and Technology to drive analysis and define target state process and systems design.

CPB is seeking talented and experienced business analysts in the Lending and credit risk area to be part of a comprehensive transformation program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the current & target state process and system analysis.
  • Collaborate & work closely with stakeholders across various regions, culture & time zones.
  • Lead business & functional requirement gathering sessions with various business partners and document the requirements & system solutions.
  • Ensures that the outputs of the analysis are created per standard practices including functional requirements, use cases, process and data flow diagrams, etc.
  • Conduct impact analysis to up and downstream process and systems and ensure they are addressed as part of the detailed functional solution / impact analysis
  • Lead and conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand and improve process and gather, analyze and document requirements.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define priorities
  • Define and manage business specifications front-to-back and act as facilitator between Business, operations, technology and control functions.
  • Partner with the Testing/QA teams and Business owners to define test strategy, scope and ensure coverage.
  • Co-ordinate implementation of technology system changes, user trainings and address post implementation queries, issues etc.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Through understanding of the lending domain front-back including Credit origination, underwriting, credit approval, Margin tracking, Collateral analysis, loan booking, loan servicing, loan accounting treatments and aspects of regulatory reporting.
  • Experience in working on large-scale lending and risk technology projects, preferably with a global financial institution.
  • Hands on experience with business and operational process analysis in transformational programs.
  • Hands on experience with using tools to document process, flows and requirement management.
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Experience with full project lifecycle with understanding of technology development lifecycle.
  • Proficient with tools such as Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Draw.io, Confluence, Jira etc.
  • Experience in project management methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/University degree in information technology, finance/economics or a related field.
  • Extensive years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Extensive years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation.
