Finance Manager

This Peterborough based FMCG are looking for an ambitious finance professional to join them as Finance Manager to drive forward the finance function. The Finance Manager will sit within an fast paced team with a direct report within them. Within this role you Finance Manager will responsible for the monthly processes within the business, alongside supporting key strategic decisions through detailed analysis and commentary.

Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts & commentary to support key business decisions
• Preparation of detailed cash flow and forecasting
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis with a focus on stocks and costings
• Assist with the management of USA taxes and liaising with key stakeholders in the USA
• Working closely with business stakeholders to provide detailed information and analysis
• Support with the production of yearly statutory accounts and audit
• Support with the continue development of processes and systems within the business
• Actively support the identification and management of business risk.
• Management of the Assistant Accountant.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Finance Manager would be:

• Ideally Finalist ACCA/CIMA but Part-Qualified and active studiers would be considered
• Strong Excel capability and systems exposure
• Proven track record within a similar FMCG environment would be advantageous
• Possess a strong analytical approach and have a passion for the numbers
• Previous line management duties would be advantageous
