Your field of responsibility

Currently we are looking for proactive, motivated and well organized candidates with solid technical profile to apply for a position of Financial Controller in Cost Allocations team. In this role you will be responsible for: 

  • Standard and ad-hoc reporting on allocated costs within Swiss Universal Bank for external and internal purposes
  • Calculation of allocation keys used to distribute costs in SUB Division internally and cross-entity
  • Calculation of amounts of allocated costs
  • Processing of relevant bookings
  • Daily cost tracking and early identification of potential irregularities
  • Maintenance of cost centers and P&L accounts for cost allocations
  • Ownership of relevant expense restatement cases (identification of required bookings, calculation and submission)
  • Annual cost allocations budgeting
  • Acting as point of contact for cost allocations-related ad-hoc queries
  • Ongoing improvements of existing processes and mitigation of related risks
  • Collaboration with partners across multiple functions (e.g. accounting, Front Office controllers, etc.)

Your skills and experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within banking, finance or accounting
  • University degree in finance, economics or mathematics (as primary or secondary field of studies)
  • Proven MS Office skills (especially practical Excel knowledge, VBA would be an asset),
  • Outstanding analytical skills and holistic thinking, flair for data and figures
  • Service oriented and reliable personality with drive to develop
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Very good communication skills including ability to efficiently lead business meetings and calls
  • High motivation for professional development
