Semi Senior/Practice Accountant, Regional Firm of Accountants, Rotherham

The Role

Barber McLelland are working in Partnership with a regional and highly progressive accountancy firm. The business are looking to recruit a Semi Senior/Practice Accountant to join their Rotherham office.

Due to the highly varied client base in which the firm support, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting and business advisory experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role of Semi Senior/Practice Accountant will work within a highly experienced and supportive environment and will be responsible for the following:

* The preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

* Client Bookkeeping

* Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations

* Preparation of VAT

* Support clients on a variety of accounting software, including cloud accounting products

* Preparation of management accounts

Skills and Qualities

The successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 3 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be part qualified AAT or ACCA, applications from individuals who have developed suitable experience but have decided not to pursue formal studies are also encouraged.

Salary/Benefits

* Salary £18,000 - £24,000 (depending upon experience)

* 23 Days plus statutory holidays
