Analyst - Superannuation Trustee Office

Remuneration AUD$85,000 plus 12% superannuation

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations & Regulatory Affairs, Superannuation Trustee Office this role will be supporting the Superannuation Trustee Office (STO) in its oversight of the governance framework supporting AMP's Superannuation Trustees.

The role provides support and co-ordination for the Superannuation Trustee Executive and their leadership team. It is also looking managing the correspondence received via mailbox or direct, analysing data and producing reports and presentations as well as responding to inquiries and resolving issues relating to projects within the STO.

Your main responsible will include but not limited to:
  • Prepare and review regulatory notices and submissions for business reporting purposes
  • Review and analyse the Superannuation Trustee Office administrative and clerical procedures implementing change management along with existing and proposed methods and procedures
  • Review existing policies and legislation to ensure the Superannuation Trustee Office is compliant with regulators and reporting standards
  • Manage the Superannuation Trustee Executive duties and organisation of and analysing business processes and work practices as well as business and team meeting, events, agendas and minute taking
  • Maintain and produce documentation for internal processes of the Superannuation Trustee Office and assist with analysing organisations charts, records, reports, and manuals
  • Support maintenance of assessments/validations of conflicts and controls in conflict registers

With your exceptional communication skills, initiative and proactive attitude what we also look for in you
  • Basic/foundational understanding of Superannuation regulatory environment and obligations
  • Basic understanding of the financial services industry ideally within Superannuation, relevant regulators (e.g. ASIC and APRA)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and an aptitude to learn new software and systems relevant to STO
  • Experience supporting an executive manager
  • High degree of professionalism and judgment with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks with excellent time management and superior attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently with people at all levels of the organisational hierarchy
