Key Responsibilities
- To prepare and analyse consolidated financial statement and management report
- To ensure accuracy and compliance with current accounting standards and practices
- To assist in consolidation of Group's financial results
- To assist in tax reporting
- To assist in preparation of financial reporting, budgeting control and cash flow management
- To assist in preparation of deferred tax
- To assist in Bursa reporting and corporate governance
- To prepare and analyse operation statistics and other reports as may be required by Management
- To liaise with bankers, auditors, legal advisors, company secretariat, tax agent and authorities
- To assist in resolving accounting issues, supervise and review work performed by accounting staff
- To undertake project work or ad-hoc assignments or any other duties as and when assigned/requested by the Management from time to time
Job Specification
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- A member of ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Full command of Microsoft Office programmes
- Familiar with Sage system would be an added advantage
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
