Job Description
A Semi - Senior Accountant is required to join a well-established Accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Sheffield.
An opportunity has arisen within our accountancy practice. The successful applicant will assist with the growing workload. Working within in a small team predominantly preparing and submitting financial statements for a variety of different businesses ranging from sole traders to limited companies and SME's. They will also ideally have at least three years' practice experience, excellent organisational skills, and an enthusiastic attitude towards work.
Position Overview
Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing personal and business tax computations.
Reviewing and submitting VAT returns.
Mentoring the trainee accountant when required.
Processing payroll & RTI submissions.
Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary.
Position Requirements
At least three years prior experience in practice. ACCA/ACA/AAT are welcome to apply A good working knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage and BTC would be advantageous Good experience preparing financial statements is essential.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Hours:16 hours per week
