Permanent Control:
o Review and validate, on a day-to-day basis and in line with existing credit lines all transactions proposed by the Front Office of Transactional Commodity Finance ("TCF") in Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore).
Documentation:
o Draft, implement, and maintain all TCF-related general documentation
o Negotiate and implement client-specific or transaction-specific documentation
Credit analysis.
o Prepare TCF Asia's credit applications including quantitative and qualitative client analysis, for new clients and periodic reviews
o Prepare portfolio reviews, maintain portfolio statistics, Basel 2 indicators, etc-
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:
o Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
o Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
o University degree in a related fieled
o Strong reading proficiency in Mandarin, as this position requires translation of documents from Mandarin-speaking counterparts
