Business analyst

Your Role
Your main responsibilities:
Operate and support Zurich's performance in specific areas by measuring progress towards its strategic goals, including:

- Gather data from a variety of sources
- Cleanse, transform and verify inputs for loading into the toolset
- Generate and/or integrate customer dashboards that are correct, complete and highly useable
- Run ad-hoc analysis to support the generation of insights for management decision making
- Develop and maintain the toolset to meet evolving business requirements, as we add new functionality, increase the scope and improve usability, including:
- Analyse customer needs to define detailed requirements for new developments
- Translate requirements into technical and data architecture
- Implement requirements technically, using Excel formulas, tables, pivot tables and Visual Basic macros, and other and reports
- Identify, analyse, manage and resolve technical issues
- Maintain and evolve technical and user documentation
Your Skills and Experience
Your skills and qualifications will include:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in developing data-driven solutions, building data models, and identifying the underlying structure to make complexity meaningful
- Expert skills in Excel, experience in programming or scripting, familiarity with other data analysis tools (e.g. Qlikview, Power BI...)
- Ability to deliver high quality work under time pressure
- Fluent in English
- And ideally, experience in implementing front ends that present insights from data with a delightful user experience
