Description

This role is part of the Securitized Products Group in Morgan Stanley supporting the New York based team from India. This is a dynamic role and will suit someone who is enthusiastic and proactive.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Residential Mortgage Contract Finance team within Fixed Income to create presentations related to opportunities within the Residential Mortgage business, including onboarding and vetting new mortgage loan originators
  • Review materials provided by clients and create Powerpoint presentations summarizing the important transaction features for senior team members
  • Review, reconcile and summarize transaction information for residential mortgage pool acquisitions
  • Prepare and distribute offering documentation and trade stipulations
  • Produce weekly transaction reporting and manage document inventory for all whole loan transactions
  • Reconcile securitization level due diligence reporting and monitor and manage deal documentation status
  • Assist in the aggregation of housing market segment valuation information for due diligence team
  • Schedule committee and management escalation meetings, as well as prepare/distribute minutes
Organization

Skills Required:

  • University degree
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Office
  • Proficiency with MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous consulting, rating agency, or similar experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically, and thrive in a dynamic work environment
