Financial Controller - Scunthorpe - £40,000 - £50,000, Bonus & Package
We are pleased to be working exclusively on a very exciting opportunity to become the number two in finance for a growing £15m t/o international engineering business who has a global presence. This is a profitable business which will see you working directly for the FD and as part of the senior management team.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a small finance team and take control for all aspects of the finance function and the delivery of financial and management reporting to enable the business a chance to achieve its desire to continue to develop and grow rapidly.
Your tasks will include:
Responsibility of group management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and job costing reports for multiple companies and group consolidation Developing and delivering good quality management information, KPI analysis, cash management and cashflow forecasting Statutory reporting and international tax management as well as VAT returns Support in assessing the financial strategy and evaluating business performance Budgeting and forecasting Developing and implementing strong financial controls and driving processes to make them more efficient Supporting the senior management team and ad hoc project workThe Person
You will be a hands on finalist/ qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) who is driven to make the next step into an all-round FC role. As this is a growing and dynamic business you will need to mirror these as personality traits as well as demonstrate excellent communication skills. You will be keen to grow with a business and have a strong work ethic to add value.
