How you will contribute

We are currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our Shared Services division on a full time basis. In this role you will assist project related matters for Valmont Australia and New Zealand through optimizing project/fixed asset accounting.
  • Monitor bank accounts ensuring reconciliations are maintained
  • Provide support to business units for bank guarantees, letters of credit, as required
  • Analyse cash positions across the company and its associated businesses
  • Manage all corporate credit cards
  • Act as main point of contact for all treasury related duties across the business units
  • Maintain treasury delegations of authority
  • Prepare daily cash balance reports
  • Maintain approvals of banking through a defined process and control matrix
About you
  • Bachelor/Masters of Business (Accounting)
  • Experience on Pronto, QAD, Epicor and SAP essential
  • Some experience in tax and treasury accounting
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
