We want you to reach your full potential as part of a diverse, global team that thrives on collaboration, and seizing opportunities and commercial edge.This role will play an integral part in the Finance Reporting team, with a core responsibility to deliver timely, accurate and relevant standard reporting to the firm's leadership, Marketing and Finance teams to enable operational and strategic decision making.The team is currently undergoing a series of changes in terms of automation and people, this role will be at the forefront of these changes, and strong people management skills will be required to lead the team through streamlining reporting and the automation of processes in an ever changing environment.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organise the team's workload and manage resources accordingly to deliver to key monthly deadlines
- Continue to develop standard processes around current reporting and accounting procedures, automating wherever possible
- Work with the GSC on migrating key tasks and develop their processing capabilities
- Ensure team member's skills continue to be developed and utilised, identify new development and training needs of the team to ensure they can deliver against the ever changing team deliverables
- Conduct twice yearly performance reviews for direct reports, managing study leave and holiday requests, ensure the same for your direct reports line management.
- Have a close working relationship with the Finance Reporting - Analytics team leader ensuring where there is cross over of work, adequate cover is arranged.
- Involvement in the UK LLP audit, including the management and delivery of deliverables and liaising with Auditors and answering queries and co-ordination with the group team regarding production of the financial statements
- Standard Reporting responsibilities cover; Management accounts, Net Profit & Contribution reporting, Client reporting & Year end
- Qualified Accountant CIMA / ACCA or similar
- Have a focus on accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines
- Be able to lead and manage direct reports to perform to the appropriate standards
- Be willing to embrace change and drive continuous improvement
- Have an understanding of how reporting systems can be used to improve reporting
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to build and maintain strong productive relationships with other teams
- Demonstrate an enthusiatic, patient and collaborative working styleAbility to problem solve with a structured and logical approach
- Great team working skills and a passion for delivering results
- Experience/knowledge with the following toolsets: SAP, Business Objects, Planning Analytics (desirable), Concur (desirable)
- Experience of working with offshore delivery centres (desirable)
