Traineeship Description:

We are looking for a dynamic UI/UX Designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital solutions. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimised for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design to exceed our customers' expectations.

The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

Responsibilities:

• Operate in self-driven teams (like start-ups) together with mentors and a tech team on a day-to-day basis as you work on tech-driven solutions that will be implemented by DBS
• Take solutions from a concept on paper to a proof-of-concept stage in the form of a fully validated working prototype in an accelerated timeline.Liaise with the project owner(s) to scope and manage project requirements to ensure creation and delivery of tailored experiences for their targeted end-user(s)
• Develop a deep understanding of the solutions' end-users, including but not limited to their behaviours, needs and pains through comprehensive research
• Ideate and conceptualise comprehensive solution design(s) beyond the initial concept brief progressively and iteratively by applying innovation and UI/UX frameworks, including but not limited to producing flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, low-fidelity prototypes, wireframes and visual and graphic mock-ups
• Design UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets appropriate for the designed solution(s)
• Test and validate the solution(s), including but not limited to desirability, specific user flows, and UI elements (e.g. CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages).
• Work closely with and communicate design and/or development requirements to the tech development team to deliver a working, tech-based prototype through an iterative process
• Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyse and predict user behaviours.
• Push and challenge boundaries in your design(s) while being conscious of the bank's style standards on typography and graphic design.

Education Qualification: Degree & above

Duration of Traineeship / Attachment offered: 6 months

Training Allowance: $2500
