about the companyLong standing history with strong branding in the market. This US listed Chemical Giant has been growing in the last few years both organically and inorganically. Their regional office is in Singapore, located strategically at the central part of Singapore. They are hiring for a strong Financial Accountant.
about the jobYou will work closely with the shared service centers to ensure proper recording of office fixed assets, accounts payables and raise accruals where necessary. You will monitor AR aging and past dues. You will also prepare and review regional rebillings. You will be responsible for fixed assets, lease, related company and tax schedules and reconciliation. You will monitor and assess adequacy of tax equalization accruals. You will handle the legal entity tax, OTP, quarterly tax provision and deferred tax computation. You will ensure that internal controls, EDB, SOX and US Tax and Local Tax reporting requirements are in place. You will also support various types of system testing and improvement projects as necessary. skills and experience requiredYou should ideally possess an accounting or finance degree from a reputable university with at least 5 years of relevant experience. You possess strong analytical and communication skills. You are meticulous and possess strong business acumen. You are able to work independently and are comfortable working with all levels in the organisation. You must have experience using SAP. Prior experience working in a big 4 will come as a strong advantage for this role.
