This organisation is looking to recruit a new team member as aBusiness Analyst Apprentice, Customer Service Specialist.

This will be a varied role working on bespoke IT projects for clients such as Mace, Hand Made Cake Company, National Grid, and Network Rail. The role would involve working amongst a global team and working with clients from all around the world.

In addition to this, the role would involve helping in the scoping & specification of new projects, delivery of the solution and the review andtesting of the software developed and used by RSK and it's clients.

Responsibilities will include:
  • First line technical support for our client facing software systems
  • The role will include taking support calls and receiving emails, resolving the issue where possible, recording the calls and escalation to the relevant 2nd line development team
  • You will be responsible for ensuring support issues are managed, including resolving where possible, escalated when needed, tested to ensure issue is resolved and calling client back to ensure all is working
  • You will learn the business requirements of new development projects and test the beta systems against these requirements, including both web and mobile apps (phones and tablets)
  • Development of help and training files using screen capturing software
  • Communicate with development team at an International location
  • Help with the scoping of requirements using Agile methodology

  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to effectively communicate on different levels

  • Will be able to demonstrate good written English

Desired qualifications

  • Desirable but not essential ICT and or maths studied at A-level (or minimum GCSE level) or equivalent
  • GCSE English C/4 and above or equivalent


Future prospects

The role allows a candidate to move into a business analyst position after some experience.

Things to consider

Our office is in Hildenborough, but currently we plan to continue to work remotely from home, however, at some stage, we do lookto start back in office with flexible hours.
