Accounting Assistant - Receivables Duration of Contract - Six (6) Months Summary The Accounting Assistant position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Finance Department with an emphasis on but not limited to the Accounts Receivable Processes Education Minimum 5 O'Levels/CXC. Pursing an accounting qualification. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software. Experience At least 1 year experience in an accounting environment with emphasis on Accounts Receivables. Ability to navigate to South West Peninsula, Point Lisas Industrial Estate and Port of Spain. Note: Must have access to or own a motor vehicle to carry out function. Key Competencies Customer service skills and a team player. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Organizational skills. Functions, Duties and Responsibilities Delivery of Invoice packages to various Customers. Timely collection of payments from Customers. Perform account reconciliations. Resolving queries from Customers that may delay timely payments. Preparation of weekly report for projected collections. Any other duties as assigned.
