Reporting to the European Head of Planning and Execution, the Technology Assurance Lead will lead activities to support the European Technology organisation remain compliant and meet standards set by Equifax Inc and various local/international governing and regulatory bodies. This is a very exciting time to join the Equifax Technology team as we are investing over $1.5bn in the Transformation of our technology landscape. What You'll Do
  • Risk - Attend Risk Committee and support Technology Certified Member in understanding risk concepts, measures, appetite and mitigation. Develop, manage and report on existing or emerging Technology risks with support from the Enterprise Risk Office. Develop and manage Key Risk Indicators and monthly reporting measures to Risk Office / Risk Committee. Provide consulting/expertise to Technology teams on risk and control issues on an ad-hoc basis. Develop and manage IT Risk Register (including mapping controls)
  • Compliance - Work with the delivery leaders and technical experts to identify control gaps and deficiencies and address these to provide reasonable level of assurance. Manage the Business Process Architecture on behalf of UK Technology, including assurance of the processes outlined. Support SOX controls and activity (including attestations and submissions by IT Leadership). Support Technology requests and responses to regulators. Represent Technology on compliance activities. Lead Technology on key compliance activities.
  • Audit - Manage and coordinate Technology input to key regulatory and accreditation audits such as PCI-DSS, IT General Control Audits and ISO 27001. Support third party and partner audits. Manage audit activities and support Internal Audit (including planning, remediation and reporting). Report and update on all outstanding actions to various stakeholders
  • Governance and Stakeholder Management - Attend various global and local governance meetings and committees around Security, Compliance and Risk, Manage Technology Security Compliance Activities, Oversight and Reporting of Security and Compliance KPIs for European teams
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as FCA, ICO, etc.
  • Experience in Technology in a similar role is highly desirable although not a must-have but it should be recognised that the role is placed in the Technology organisation
  • Previous experience in at least 2 of the 4 dimensions highlighted in the "What You'll Do" section to the role is a prerequisite for application

  • Relevant certifications in Risk, Compliance or Audit would be an advantage (e.g. CIA, CISA, ICA)
