Accounts Semi Senior in Leeds

This role is based with an independent firm of accountants in Leeds and is ideal if you enjoy working closely with OMB and SME clients providing a broad range of non-audit services.

The Accounts Semi Senior will report to the Senior Accountant where they will assist in supporting the client portfolio workflow within the team.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a broad variety of work across a varying client sector spectrum.

The role offers a mix of financial accounts production, management reporting, tax affairs, and ad hoc projects. In line with working for a firm with a reputation for providing their staff with career and personal development, the Accounts Semi Senior  will also have the flexibility to work from home if suitable.

The Role of the Accounts Semi Senior

  • Preparation of account to review stage
  • Financial accounts production
  • Management accounts production
  • Ad hoc reporting for clients
  • Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
  • Acting as a senior member of the team - planning and executing day to day work
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
