Page Personnel is working with a successful business to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their accountancy team on a permanent basis.

Client Details

This is a successful wholesale and distribution company with operations in over 30 countries across the world. They have a successful and established head office function based in Liverpool, where their finance team is based, and has become a good environment for a part qualified studier to develop and progress their skills.

Description

As Assistant Financial Accountant you will be responsible for reporting financial information to support performance management. Your day to day role will include:

• Preparation of monthly accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow management and cash forecasting
• Ad hoc financial and commercial reporting as and when required
• VAT returns
• Intercompany reporting and reconciliations
• Data management and manipulation of data to produce meaningful management information
• Supporting the wider team and business with ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate for the Assistant Financial Accountant role must have:

• CIMA/ACCA part qualified
• Experience in producing management/financial accounts
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Good team working skills and ability to build relationships across all levels
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong IT skills
• Able to prioritise workload and deliver good results on a consistent basis
