  • Preparation and reconciliation of monthly closing of Holding Company management accounts.
  • Assist to Oversee and reconciliation of monthly closing of Subsidiaries and Associates management accounts.
  • Lead, Supervise and provide guidance to junior executive to ensure transactions are recorded accurately for timely reporting.
  • Enforce proper accounting methods, policies and procedures and ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly management reports for Management review.
  • Responsible for the management of credit control, cashflow, accounts receivables, accounts payables, inventories and fixed assets.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits and tax of the Group financial reports.
  • Attending to the Holding, Subsidiaries and Related Companies Audit including Audit queries and Handling of all tax related queries.
  • Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, IRB and Kastam and/ or the relevant authorities as required on all Audit and Tax related matters.
  • Involve in the planning, conducting and execution of stock count procedures and processes.
  • Involve in the development, implementation and adherence of policies and procedures with emphasis on internal control in line with the Financial Reporting Standards.
  • To proactively involve in identifying key issues and opportunities and make recommendations to Management on financial decisions.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties in relation to the responsibilities as stated above and provide support to Management as required by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ CIMA.
  • A member of professional accounting bodies (MIA) would be an advantage.
  • IFRS9 experience required.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Pro-active and able to work effectively with a multi-functional and cross-cultural team.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years supervisorial experience.
  • Possess leadership qualities with good analytical and communication skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Familiar with Autocount software would be an added advantage.
