The Team

Treasury in Europe is responsible for the EMEA region of the company for topics such as cash management, FX hedging and Short Term Financing and belongs to the Finance Team of PVH in Europe.

The Position

PVH European Treasury team is looking for an experienced Treasury Senior Analyst that is accustomed to and enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment. The candidate will be part of the European Treasury team in Amsterdam HQ. The position is expected to play a key role in the European Treasury Operations. Next to this, participating in and driving forward several treasury projects. The role will work closely and reports in Senior Manager Treasury.

The candidate should be accustomed to work in a multi-cultural, fast paced organization with changing priorities. They should possess analytical skills, interest in technology and process optimizations. In addition, the role requires a hands on, pragmatic problem solving attitude in a constantly changing environment.

A successful candidate should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to partner with stakeholders of various levels of seniority across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cashflow Forecast: Prepare the monthly cash forecast including enhancing the quality and the speed of completion of cash flow forecasting under limited Supervision from the Senior Manager Treasury. Coordinate with the Consolidation and Reporting team and the responsible country teams.
  • FX hedging: Hedge FX exposure according to the Treasury/Hedging Policy. Analyze exposures and provide recommendations for improvements. Prepare exposure reports for the organization and provide support to the Accounting consolidation Team.
  • Cash management/ cash pooling: Provide input and organize optimal cash pooling structures across Europe under minimal supervision from the Senior Manager Treasury. The associate will analyze and provide recommendations for the optimal cash target balances per entity and will arrange the documentation completion and signature with the banks.
  • Month end closing activities: Coordinate and execute in line with procedures month-end-closing activities including Marked to Market report, Intercompany FX elimination, Maintenance of FX rates in SAP for PVH Europe and preparation and distribution of monthly and yearly rates globally. Own the debt disclosures reporting to the US.
  • Business partnering: Be a trusted Business partner to PVH Europe business under supervision of the Senior Manager Treasury. Support the Tax and legal entity consolidation and transition to local invoice model. Act as a business partner and Support Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Consolidation, Legal and Tax departments in Treasury related topics, mostly focused on cash management issues with banks (electronic bank statements, payment methods, different collection products etc.).
  • Intercompany Netting: Initiate and own Intercompany Netting and Interest and fee In House Banks recharges process within Treasury systems, in cooperation with Shared Service accountants who are responsible for the corresponding accounting of such transactions.
  • Bank account maintenance: Actively involved in account opening/closures and relevant documentation in line with business needs. Ensure correct set-up in TMS and internal database. Monitoring bank account database for Europe and execute request to open/close bank accounts, amendments to signature cards and other required KYC procedures related to banks.
  • Systems/Compliance: Admin for various banking portals. Assist with various reports/input for SOX and Internal controls purposes. Assist in yearly Audit confirmation process

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree in Finance with 4-6 years of (broader) finance including a number of years treasury experience
