The Team

The objective of the Controlling team within PVH Europe is to act as the bridge between the Business and Finance; supporting the Business owners to translate their strategies into budgets and long term plans; and with that setting and safeguarding financial targets for PVH Europe.

The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our PVHE Business Controlling team. In this newly created role, you are expected to lead various projects aiming to innovate financial planning and reporting tools. You will be working closely with Central Controlling, Analytics & Business Intelligence team's to establish new ways of working and develop efficiency solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Form trusted relationships with Controllers and Analytics & Business Intelligence team, acting as a bridge between both
  • Lead various projects focused on developing system tools, tailored towards business planning needs (rolling forecast, SG&A planning)
  • Innovate current business planning processes and improve financial reporting
  • Lead training across the business and territories on new system implementations and processes
  • Develop efficiency solutions focused on automation and standardization of workflow
  • Lead weekly meetings with Controllers and Analytics & Business Intelligence teams
  • Support month end controlling activities, monthly Re-estimates and yearly Budget
  • Identify opportunities and suggest how to capture them
  • Identify risks and suggest how to overcome them
  • Actively challenge existing ways of working

The Ideal Candidate:
  • University degree - Master in Accounting and Control/ Business Administration/ Finance
  • Solution oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 5 years relevant Finance & Controlling or/and Analytics and Business Intelligence work experience
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Experienced with SAP BW/BPC
  • Proven experience of supporting mid-scale projects
  • Highly motivated to get things done and pro-active in doing so
  • Structured and well organized
  • Able to work independently, yet at the same time being a prime example of a collaborator
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while looking for ways to improve processes
  • Flexible to adapt to changing processes and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
  • Fitting inour casual company culture (young in mind and spirit , empathic , entrepreneurial, creative)
  • Strong excel and power point skills
