About the role

  • You will interface between finance team and/or development/data team
  • You will make sure that all the potential finance accounting impacts are raised
  • You will be responsible to translate business requirements into functional specifications, covering all facets of records management requirements, including business processes, data models, information governance and data quality.
  • You will ensure the completeness and timely compliance of the reporting to the Finance team and other parties involved in the finance reports
  • You will be responsible to improve the quality of the financial processes and optimize the internal controls of the process
  • May act as a Project Manager in addition to his/her Business Systems Analyst role;
  • You will be involved in project schedule, cost, and resource management as well as spotlight time and energy on ensuring accurate requirements management

About you

  • You have university degree or equivalent qualifications in one of the domains such as Finance, Computer Science, Information and Business Management, or other Engineering fields. Master's degree a plus.
  • You have at least 6 years of combined experience in financial project related to insurance (ideally in P&C) and/or respective collaborating with consistent track record
  • You have knowledge of one of the insurance systems (Guidewire, INSIS, TIA, Socotra, Majesco and etc.) and experience in their implementation
  • You know how to translate high-level needs from the finance team in detailed requirements for the technology team
  • You worked with MS Excel, Power BI (JIRA, Confluence or other agile project management tool is a plus)
  • You have high-level knowledge of US Gaap, Lux Gaap, IFRS17
  • You are familiar with agile methodology and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • High levels of organization, detail orientation and results drive, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others to deliver toward a common goal
  • You are a forward-thinking teammate with clear and effective communication skills
  • You are fluent in English.
