OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Financial Analyst that is excited to join a tech company that is constantly improving and reimagining the logistics industry. Our candidate should be passionate about using data to solve big, complex and ambiguous problems. The ideal candidate should be eager to continuously learn and improve their skills. As part of the AMZL Finance team, you will join a team that is passionate about numbers, data, and how to use them to generate insights and improve our business. Expect to get involved in worldwide projects to expand current EU AMZL financial and performance reporting, in creating more complete and accurate planning tools, as well as managing regular reporting. We collaborate with our partners to ensure leaders to have the most up to date and reliable information, and work with them to make sure AMZL is making the best possible decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting analysis of requirements to implement new programs and services reporting
• Supporting business planning and forecasting processes
• Working in conjunction with both in-country Finance teams and Central EU teams to drive best practice and consistent reporting processes
• Identifying and communicating issues to senior management as well as regular reporting
• Proactively supports knowledge-sharing within the team and across your division, while looking to standardize processes across EU teams
• Works independently: Proactively partners with manager to prioritize and focus on high-impact activities and to deprioritize those which are unlikely to drive material improvement

Basic Qualifications:
• Degree and work experience in finance
• An eye for detail and a passion for data with the ability to accurately summarize the relevant details
• A self-starter with the ability to prioritize
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to provide creative simple solutions to complex problems
• Prioritize and work towards multiple deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, PowerPivot, PowerQuery..)
• SQL

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong skills in accessing and using analytical tools (e.g. KNIME and Python)
• Experience in data modelling
• Experience in reporting automation
