As the Business Analyst, your responsibilities and expectations include, but not limited to the following:
- Analyse complex business problems and determine the best Information Technology solutions
- Data gathering and analyse business and user needs
- Provide options and recommendations to business and/or Information Technology teams
- Work closely with project team and business to determine the best feasible Information Technology solutions
- Ensure requirements are documented in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested
- Analyse Information Technology's application data requirements and document data mapping between systems
- Manage requirements throughout project lifecycle by maintaining agreement between business and project team
- Establish traceability of requirements to the business vision
- Work with business and Quality Assurance team to identify and document testing scenario
- Development of business case and change request
- Manage the delivery of small enhancement/change request
- Assess End to End processes to identify improvement/automation opportunities and create automation/transformation roadmap
- Well versed with contemporary technologies & leading tools, RPA, ML/AI, Microsoft Technologies, Microsoft Power Platform and Analytics, also have a proven record of implementing large scale Transformation project
- Experience in process due diligence and diagnostics, building solutions and process restructuring.
- Ability to set up lag and lead indicators for measurement in the system. Build and drive calibration models to drive standardization across onshore and offshore.
- Experience in delivering end to end projects delivering on key metrics around customer satisfaction, cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Demonstrated skill at data cleansing, data quality assessment and using analytics for data assessment
- Collaborate with various functions to ensure the system solutions meet the functional requirements
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong in analytical thinking
- Ability to determine "fit for purpose" requirements
- Proficient in facilitating requirement gathering discussions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal or external
- Ability to prioritize work and flexible in handling multiple projects/requests simultaneously
- Ability to deal with changes under minimal supervision
- Ability to work with people from different geographical locations and time zones
- Strong business acumen
- Minimum 5 years of Information Technology experience as developer or business analyst
- Proven experience in writing and reviewing business/ functional and non-functional/ system level requirements
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
- Basic application and architectural knowledge built upon Microsoft platform/technologies, e.g. .NET, SQL, SSIS, Azure
- Familiar with IT methodologies e.g. Agile, DevOps
