As a Director for the Capital Allowances department you will work as part of a specialist team within our Tax Advisory business. Capital allowances are a valuable tax relief for property expenditure and our team specialises in preparing claims to maximise the available reliefs. With support from your experienced team you will work closely together to business partner and network with internal and external connections.

You will manage the Capital Allowances tax team by hearing the voice of your team members, conduct appraisals, provide coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work. As part of your own development, you will establish strong working relationships with your own portfolio of clients through assignments and regular contact, including attending client meetings.

You will require significant previous experience of Capital Allowances in a similar role either within a professional services firm or specialist capital allowances practice. We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge and excellent client skills. In terms of qualifications we would ideally be looking for a CTA or ACA or a RICS qualification in the taxation and allowances field of expertise.
