Page Personnel are working with a leading Public Sector organisation, based in Barnsley. Our client is hiring a Financial Accountant to join them on a long-term, temporary basis.

Our client is a large Public Sector organisation who have over 80 years worth of expertise. With more than 5,000 employees across the UK, they are growing rapidly and now have an opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their skillful team in Finance.
Description
The Financial Accountant will routinely be involved in control account reconciliations; maintenance and reconciliation of cash book; liaise with audit teams as necessary; support month end and year end accounts production.
Due to the internal secondment of the current post-holder, the role is offered for a term of around 14 months.
The Financial Accountant is a member of a small team responsible for financial controls and statutory reporting for the organisation.
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant will:
- Have technical accounting experience
- Have experience with losses and special payments (desirable)
- Have previously used Oracle (desirable)
