We are looking for a Part-Qualified Business Analyst with previous experience in a finance role, to join a world leading data analytics and brand consulting company! The Business Analyst will report to the Business Partner and assist with analysing financial trends, liaising with client services, tracking deliverables while supporting the wider business. This is a 6-month FTC.
Responsibilities
Assist in the extraction of financial information from Maconomy and Cartesis systems
• Excel analysis of data from financial systems including
• Assist with the analysis and interpretation of financial trends
• Support a project to implement balance sheet reporting for divisions
• Support the business in continued analysis and tracking of net working capital
• Liaise with Client Service where there are job related queries, providing access to necessary job data
• Assist with collation of information from stakeholders and tracking of deliverables
• Co-ordinate between finance and non-finance teams to help collate required information and summarise this
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis

Requirements
- Part Qualified accountant with experience in a finance role
- Experience in a larger company ideal
- Strong excel skills and experience extracting information using different tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate requirements and challenges clearly
- You are a systematic problem-solver, methodically working through possibilities to find a solution.
- Through work or education, you have demonstrated the ability to solve technical, data-driven problems.
- Ability to self-start with a proactive and can-do attitude
- Ability to multi task, balancing multiple competing priorities while prioritizing as required.
