DESCRIPTION
The Whole Foods Market on Amazon (WFMOA) team is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with excellent statistical and analytical abilities. If you are a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with an uncanny knack and passion for turning qualitative analysis and observations into diagnostics and metrics, then you are the right candidate for our team.

In this position, you will be a key contributor and sparring partner, developing analytics and insights that Catalog and Selection teams of WFMOA will use to define global strategies and deep dive businesses. The position is based in Hyderabad, but will interact with leaders in NA and IN. You will also have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas:

Be a thought leader: Interface with business partners, architect, design, implement, and support various projects & tools that derive insights and shape important, WFMOA business decisions.
Dive Deep, Raise the bar and insist on high standards: Recognize and adopt best practices in analysis and reporting, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. Support your leadership team with deep-dives and insights that improve our performance and productivity, so we can serve our customers even better.
Deliver Results: Be inspired by the motto of Customer First, use outstanding business acumen, technical and analytical skills to drive real, actionable results.

We seek a self-starter who can quickly familiarize him/herself with this fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of topics. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to work through complex business problems and partner with internal teams with a consultative approach to put data insights into actions
• Ability to work with large segregated data sources, and produce well defined solutions in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
• Eagerness to take big ideas from scoping to launch
• Experience earning trust and working closely with business stakeholders to understand their business problems & being customer obsessed to find solutions
• 3+ years of experience in Business/Customer Analytics
• 3+ years of experience with advanced SQL skills
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Quicksight
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, R, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Explicit industry experience with spoken language understanding systems
• Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure including S3, Redshift, DynamoDB and RDS
• Proven ability to look at solutions in unconventional ways, identify opportunities to innovate, and lead the way
• Proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred
