A growing SME Media business is looking to hire a driven and ambitious Head of Finance for a newly created role.
This is a fantastic time to join this London based Media business in a broad role that will afford you a large degree of autonomy and flexibility. You will be supporting and reporting into the COO and will assist them in all finance-related aspects of running the business. This will be the number one role in finance and will have responsibility for a small team as well.
They have a great, diverse and entrepreneurial culture and are certainly sociable with a number of company away days run every year as well as a host of other events. They are currently working from home but will return to their central London head office in time but on a very flexible basis.

Day to day the Head of Finance will:
- Manage and develop a team of 3
- Oversee the production of the monthly management accounts and board pack
- Produce the statutory accounts and run the consolidation of the group companies
- Manage the rate card/costing calculations
- Run the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Help support the business commercially with their decision making and be a true business partner
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or overseas equivalent)
- Have an analytical mindset
- Have experience in senior stakeholder management
- Be technically strong accountant
