This Hitchin Temporary based Accounts Assistant role is working with a national consulting business who have a current opening within their finance team for someone with strong Accounts payable/ purchase ledger and accounts experience. An Temporary role that is offering someone the chance to be part of a friendly and supportive team and to grow and develop into a longer term role potentially from the initial 1 month temp assignment

They have a stable and family feel organisation with this Temporary Accounts Assistant - AP role managing the companies Accounts payable and assisting across the finance team

Temporary Accounts Assistant - AP duties and responsibilities;

• Dual role assisting the finance team and managing the AP function
• Process payment runs
• Maintain monthly reconciliation
• Ownership of the cash control process
• Manage invoice queries
• Assist the finance function across transactional finance duties

Profile

Temporary Accounts Assistant - AP Required knowledge, experience and skills

• Prior experience in an Accounts with an AP focus
• Comfortable managing the invoicing process using an automated invoice processing system and therefore needing some comfortable managing invoice queries, reconciliations and payments runs
• Excel and accounting software experience is ideal but only excel is essential
• Team player happy to work as part of the team
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Availble to start on no notice
