Fast growing financial services business that works with a range of clients covering the real estate investment, private equity and infrastructure sectors. Based in Central London (City).
Description
Working in the Corporate Services accounting team, your role will be a broad accounting position with some additional operational tasks and include:
- Performing bookkeeping and preparing periodic reports;
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements;
- Maintaining contact with auditors;
- Assisting with processing payments;
- Assisting with VAT returns;
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as required such as organisation of board and shareholders meetings.
- Assisting clients in incorporation and administration of asset holding vehicles, financing entities, and real estate companies;
- Handling the day-to-day operations of companies and responding to clients' requests;
- Assisting with client on-boarding including obtaining AML/KYC information;
Profile
We are interested in hearing from candidates who:
- Have previous practical bookkeeping / accounting knowledge (debits, credits, double entry)
- Actively studying for the ACA or ACCA qualification with some exams already passed
- Genuine interest in the financial services sector - private equity, real estate investments, infrastructure investment
- 1st class or 2.1 degree within relevant field - accounting, finance, mathematics, economics
- Excellent communciation skills
