Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire to recruit an Interim Financial Projects Manager for a fixed period of 6 months.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Finance Director, Divisional MDs and wider finance team to review the financial processes of several manufacturing sites to deliver a fit for purpose accounting system.

This will include:

- Creating a simplified costing methodology - Customer and product margin analysis - Balance sheet control - Reporting development - Validating the contents of the fixed asset register and correcting where necessary - Updating documentation and processes for the appraisal and authorisation of capital spend - Providing Audit support in the provision of information to the new auditors - Improvements to tax pack analysis - Reconciling customer and product profitability detail data - Reporting improvements and analysis of working capital across the key divisions to provide improved sales channel analysis, key sales and margin issues, product costs - Involvement in the upgrade of the current core system (Sage)

Candidate Background & Qualities:

- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) - Previous interim experience - Extensive manufacturing and distribution experience - Strong systems knowledge and advanced Excel skills - Good relationship builder with Operations and Finance staff at all levels - Experience of dealing with auditors

This is a role covering several sites and as such will be mainly homebased with travel to sites across the Yorkshire region.
