OVERVIEW Our client, based on the outskirts of Sheffield and operate in the manufacturing sector are now seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join their collaborative and welcoming team to support them as they continue to develop and grow.

THE ROLE: -Producing timely and accurate weekly management information -Implementing weekly production reports -Ensuring robust processes are in place -Collaborating with the manufacturing and sales team to provide knowledge and analysis on manufacturing costs, bill of materials and product pricing -The management of standard costs -The implementation of Labour Capture -The implementation of production variance reporting. -Being proficient in inventory/stock accounting and being able to do balance sheet reconciliations.

THE CANDIDATE: You will be a qualified Accountant with experience ideally gained in a manufacturing environment although this is not essential. You will have demonstrative experience of being a team player and a focussed individual who is willing to roll their sleeves up to get the job done. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain positive and collaborative relationships.
