The Role:
The Financial Accountant will support the Accounting and Business Control team by performing month end transactions, maintain the general ledger and sub ledgers, prepare statutory accounts for financial year end, liaise with auditors and perform other accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, you will have financial accounting experience in a large, complex organisation and have achieved CA or CPA qualifications. You possess excellent prioritisation skills and able to manage complexity and non-routine tasks. You will be action oriented with well developed communication skills and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare month end transactions, maintaining the general ledgers through posting of journal entries and interfacing transactions in a timely manner;
- Maintain the fixed asset registers, including additions, disposals and preparation of depreciation expense schedules;
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, and in providing information for auditors at year end;
- Prepare account reconciliations, including balance sheet, Bank and Inter-company reconciliations;
- Provision of other accounting services including preparation of BAS returns to the ATO and information to Australian Bureau of Statistics;
