The Commissions and Bonus Administrator role will report directly to the CFO and assist in the calculation and administration of commissions to approximately 50 sales staff, and quarterly and annual bonuses to approximately 120 senior staff, as well as a number of annual team bonuses.

My client based in Central London offer a range of marketing solutions and information systems to businesses from all industries. Providing market analysis services, marketing data, software and IT consultancy services.


The Commissions and Bonus Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely administration of quarterly and annual bonus and monthly commission plans
  • Creation, maintenance and distribution of plan documents
  • Updating plans and target memos on a quarterly basis
  • Calculation of bonuses on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure appropriate sign-off of all payments
  • Distribution of payment schedules
  • Maintenance of Sales Scoreboards
  • Ensuring accrual information accurately reflects latest bonus plans and performance level

Accounting & reporting

  • Ad hoc tasks to assist in month end close process to tight accounting deadlines
  • Assisting transaction processing teams as appropriate, including review & sign-off of bank payment runs

Other Responsibilities

  • Providing miscellaneous support to CFO and Corporate Controller
  • Maintenance and Submission of various statutory returns
  • Other ad hoc tasks within the administration of the finance team


The successful Commissions and Bonus Administrator:

  • Highly numerate person with a strong educational background
  • Previous accounting and administration experience
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Knowledge of Netsuite Accounting software (desirable)
  • Able to work independently, and on their own initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work at all levels in the organisation (from the least experienced to senior management)
