Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions across the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Preparing, reconciling and records asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analysing data from multiple financial systems.
• Assisting in the preparation of consolidated group results and statutory financial statements for multiple group entities.
• Assisting with the coordination of year-end deliverables with external auditors to provide all necessary information for audit purposes.
• Month end ownership
• Preparing and reviewing reconciliations for the balance sheet accounts and problem solving through issues found.
• Supporting financial team with GST, FBT calculations and reconciliations

Most important attributes required for the position:

• Experience in fast changing / fast paced environment
• CPA/CA qualified
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
• A broad exposure to financial systems.
• Ability to drive improvements in systems, processes and procedures.
• Good knowledge of current accounting standards.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-expanding business.
