Job description

As a Senior Accountant within our internal Finance department, you will be responsible for the accounting of several entities from A to Z. You will complete a team of 4 accountants and will be working under the direct coaching and supervision of the “Head of Accounting”.

You will contribute to the preparation of the monthly and annual closing. Moreover, you will be in charge of the preparation of the VAT and tax submissions (CIT) and CSSF reporting. You will be working on the bookkeeping and reconciliation of the accounts. You will support in the supplier payments.

You will prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with reporting requirements (both internal and external). You will be the point of contact for the external audit. You will assist in the coordination of financial planning, analysis and drafting of budgets. Your contribution to ad hoc projects (integrations, process improvement) will be much appreciated.

You are a solid teamplayer, a structured worker with eye for details. You welcome change and have a “can do” attitude. You are an effective communicator with a no nonsense approach, able to interact effectively with senior people in the organisation is key. Moreover, you are a self- starter and autonomous, able to work towards deadlines but at the same time you have a critical mind-set towards numbers or info presented.

  • Bachelor / Master in Accounting, Economy, Finance, or Management
  • Experience: 5 years minimum in an accounting position
  • Fluent in English, French is an asset
  • Advanced excel skills, IT savvy (accounting and reporting system)
  • Experience with SUN, Exact Globe or Sage BOB are an advantage but not required
  • Familiar with Luxembourg GAAP, VAT and CIT framework. Some experience with CSSF reporting is a nice to have
