Purchase Ledger Team Leader

Due to continued success and rapid growth, Page Personnel are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Team Leader on behalf of a leading procurement and distribution business based in Normanton, to work within their established Finance team.

UK-based global procurement and distribution business that ensures product availability and enables clients to realise efficiencies and achieve cost savings.

Description

You will be leading a team through regular 1-to-1's as well as yearly, 6 monthly and quarterly reviews, team meetings and assessing development needs.

Other duties will include:

Workload organisation and prioritisation; managing aged creditors to reduce risk; debit balances management; ensure processing of invoices and resolution of queries are within SLAs; business partnering to improve paid to and first time match rates; implementing financial and risk controls; drive process improvements; escalation of issues; recruitment

Profile

• Be from an Accounts Payable background with good analytical skills

• Have experience leading, supporting and motivating a team

• Professional, organised and able to influence others to complete workload to SLAs

• Personable and with strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Team player with strong networking skills
