Page Personnel is working with a rapidly growing FMCG business in Liverpool to recruit a number of Finance Analyst roles.

Client Details

This business has a number of well known household brands within their portfolio and has recruited extensively across their accountancy function due to their exciting growth. A key player in their market, they are one of the world's largest manufacturers within their sector with location across the UK, Europe, US and Far East.

Description

As Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for areas covering:

• Financial and commercial analysis to help with decisions to increase profitability
• Analysing sales and margins, as well as providing support to influence decision around pricing, promotions, and appraisals of new products
• Variance analysis of price, volume and mix
• Providing competitor analysis providing insight of key trends
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Developing weekly P&L reports
• Taking full ownership of the P&L for your area and delivery of all financial data
• Providing commentaries and insights to performance reports and variances

Profile

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA - early studier and latter stages will both be considered across a number of roles
• Ideally have worked in manufacturing/FMCG
• Strong communication skills with the ability/potential to take on a business partnering responsibility
• Must be numerate and analytical
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data
• Able to work autonomously
• Produce a high level of accuracy, detail and quality in all their work
